DATED JUNE 22, 1979 l
The Exxon letter of June 22 and the attachment describe several changes and additions planned for the Exxon plant site.
Inasmuch as Exxon has identified only two of these additions as subjects for future NRC license I
amendment applications, the specific changes need to be reviewed against l
the previously approved Phase III expansion plans (described in Exxon's letter and attachment dated June 7, 1973).

are reviewing the changes listed in the June 22, 1979, letter and i
attachment to determine which changes are addressed in the Phase III t
expansion and whether we agree with Exxon's judgment on those changes which require licensing actions.
I also told tir. Estey that following l
our review we will respond to their letter in writing and let them know which of the changes require NRC review and approval as license amendments.
It is my understanding that the lagoon addition is the only change listed l
in the June 22 letter for which construction has been started.
