% i 4 ,,,s' To'whom this e.ay concern:

We wish to be full party to the proposed Allens Creek nuclear plant project near Wallis, Texas. We have not intervened previously as prior notices were too restrictive and a=biguous; thus, we did not know that it was expedient to do so.

As . residents of Orchard, Texas, we live well within the 50-mile radius of the proposed Allens Creek site. We have lived here for al=ost two years now, and will continue to do so unless the AllensCenter facility comes on strea=. .

As fomer residents of New England, we are quite fa:niliar with nuclear power facilities already in operation. And because of this fa=iliarity, we fear real and 4-4nent danger to us and to our future issue. As a farrier and professiore' norse trainer, ~~

we also fear that Allens Creek would pose a danger to our livi-hood --- as that livlihood depends strongly on the health and well-being of the environment and other living things. .

Until that time when we have the technology and the e=pherical restraint to build and operate nuclear plants in a 100% fail-safe =anner, we fear strongly for all life fo ms. Especially witn the proble of nuclea- waste as yet so ~~=' ae-ly unsolved.

".~ne knews-which of us will be the first to be tiversely effec:cd?

Will it be us? Or will it be our as yet unconeelved ch'ild?

We demand that you stop this now. For it is much easier and wiser to move forward carefully, at a snail's pace...than it is to recreate sc=ething rare and beautiful which haste and short-cignteiness has destroyed.
