APPLICATIONS FOR WITHHOLDING FROM PUBLIC DISCLOSURE INFORMATION REGARDING THE WESTINGHOUSE ECCS EVALUI. TION MODEL By applications listed in the enclosure, you requested that information identified in the enclosure be withheld from public disclosure pursuant to 10 CFR 2.790.
Non-proprietary versions of the listed proprietary information was submitted for placement in the Public Document Room.
The proprietary information identified in the enclosure supplements proprietary material submitted April 6,1977 in WCAP-8970, " Westinghouse Emergency Core Cooling System Small Break - October 1975 Model." Each application for withholding listed in the enclosure references affidavit AW-77-18 dated April 20, 1977 which sets forth the basir on which WCAP-8970 may be withheld from public di sclosure.
Our letter dated October 28, 1977 approved your request for with-holding WCAP-8970 from public disclosure.
For the reasons stated in our October 28, 1977 letter, we have determined that the proprietary information identified in the enclosure also should be withheld from public disclosure.
Ue, therefore, approve your request for withholding pursuant to t action 2.790 of 10 CFR Part 2 and are withholding from public inspection the p.oprietary information identified in the enclosure.
Withholding from public inspection shall not affect the right, if any, of persons properly and directly concerned to inspect the documents.
If the need arises, we may send copies of this information to our consultants working in this area. We will, of course, assure that the consultants have signed the appropriate agreements for handling proprietary data.
