Dear Mr. Jordan:
This letter is written in response to your letter of July 13, 1979, on behalf of Concerned Citizens of Rhode Island, the Point Judith Fishermen's Cooperative, and the Thomas L. Arnold Trust. Enclosed with your letter, is a request for an order to show cause why the application for construction permits for NEP Units 1 and 2 should not be dismissed. For the reasons set forth in the enclosed
" Director's Decision Under 10 CFR 2.206", your request is hereby denied.
A copy of this determination will be placed in the Commission's Public Document Room at 1717 H Street, N.W., Washington, D. C.
20555, and in the Local Public Document Rooms at the Cross Mill Public Library, Old Post Road, Charlestown, Rhode Island 02813, and at the University Library, University of Rhode Island, Government Publications Of fice, Kingston, Rhode Island 02881. A copy will.
be filed with the Secretary of the Cormission for its review in accordance with 10 CFR 2.206(c) of the Commission's regulations.
