Dear Mr. MacDonald:
Please refer to my letter dated July 4, 1979 which included addi-tional information on the QA program for Docket No. 71-0010.
It is requested that you respond to my letter so we can proceed to prepare the MASSIVE documentation which you are demanding.
Our organization has never committed to written form the numarous procedures and policies which you require because the very simple devices which are manuf actured here are not deemed to need such QA surveillance.
Our safety record supports this position.
You will note that my former correspondence addresses the fact that it is IMPOSSIBLE for this company to totally comply with all of ti. _ specified conditions.
I will also express an opinion that there IS Nu~" a single manufacturer of these devices in the United States which casi neet AI,L conditions which you require.
I look forward to your prompt reply, say 10 days, as you demar.d from this organization.
Sincerely, y
W %
