Dear Sir:
The referenced letter requested that the NRC be informed within 30 days if the Authority has previously completed the reviews of the concerns expressed in it.
The Authority hereby refers the NRC staff to its previous letters to the NRC on this matter, as follows:

Berry dated August 12, 1976 and included, as attach-ment, our " Evaluation of Operability of Safety Related Equipment During a Degraded Voltage Condition" study, pre-pared specifically in response to Mr. Reid's concerns of August 12, 1976.

Reid dated October 17, 1977 This letter completed the response to R.
W.
Reid letter of June 3, 1977 and it.cluded, as attachments, the following documents:
a)
" Modification to the Emergency A-C Power System Undervoltage Protection", which presented in detail our proposed manner to provide a second level of voltage protection to the emergency busses to mitigate the possible consequences of a sustained degraded voltage condition in these busses, b)
" Proposed Changes to Technical Specifications -
Degraded Voltage Protection for Emergency A-C Power System", prepared to comply with Position 3 of the enclosure to R.
W.
Reid letter of June 3, 1977, and c)
" Technical Description and Discussion of Technical Specification Changes", supporting above modification.
Our records indicate that no answer from the NRC has yet been received and thus no efforts to implement the modification have been made.
It is the Authority's consideration that the three above listed letters with their attached documents and FSAR Sections 8.2 through 8.6 address all the concerns contained in W.
Gammill letter of August 8, 1979, although not necessarily in the same order as expressed in the letter, and that, in consequence, no further action on our part is required on this matter.
