50-446A

Dear Mr. Sampels:

This is to confirm our conversation of August 9,1979 in which you told me that you would be unavailable for Staff's deposition of B.E ' idley on Thursday, August 16, 1979.

I hope that we can work out some mut0 ally convenient date in the future for this deposition, as well as those of Messrs. Tanner, Montgomery, and Miner. My understanding is that Mr. Miner is out of the country, Mr.

Montgomery is on vacation, and Mr. Tanner could not be excused from jury duty.

Th.:nk you for your courtesy.

Yours truly, t
