Dear Mr. McCorkle:
General Atomic Company has submitted, in ref. a, a revised Contingency Plan which incorporated your staffs comments transmitted in ref. b.
We recently were made aware of another wording difficulty which was overlooked in our review of the revised plan.
The change required substitutes the word arred for unarmed in section 1.1, paragraph 2, next to last sentence of the subject plan. Attachment 1 is a revised page 1-1 of the plan and should be substituted therefor.
This change does not decrease the effectiveness of the plan. Accordingly, the change is of the type described in 10CFR70.32(e).
No fees are submitted since the plan has not been approved and the change is of the type in 10CFR70.32(e) for which. fees are not applicable.
We have labeled the attachment as PRIVATE DATA - UNCLASSIFIED to maintain consistency with the page substituted and its significance to the rest of the document.
We request that the attached page be withheld fron public disclosure in accordance with 10CFR2.790(d).
We continue to look forward to your approval of our subject plan.
