Dear Mr. Ayers,

s We are in receipt of your document entitled " Revised Evaluation of Possible Flooding at Exxon Nuclear Fuels Facility". On page 5 of that report, it is stated that "a detailed PMF analysis for the Yakima river in the vicinity of Richland has never been done to our knowledge." However, an approximation of the PMF was made by Blume (report attached - page 18) based on work of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The Blume report also provides analyses of various up-stream dam facilities on the Yakima river.

The Blume conclusions do not alter your conclusions on the ef fect of the Yakima PMF, but I bring it to your attention for completeness.

I thought we had furnished you with a copy of the rcport.

Sincerely, Roy Nilson, Manager Licensing RN: sir e7,_
