Dear Mr. Reid:
This letter transmits a revised technical specification proposal for the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, Unit No. 1. of Toledo Edison's letter of July 27, 1979 (Serial No. 529) proposed changes in the surveillance requirements for steam generator tube inspections. As a result of recent discussions with your staff, a more detailed proposal has been developed and is attached for your consideration, This revision does not constitute a change in the basic proposal so the safety evaluation remains as previously submitted.
