Fort St. Vrain Spent Fuel Shipping Package Gentlemen:
Public Service Company of Colorado (PSC) intends to utilize spent fuel shipping packages (Model FSV-1) to transport radioactive materials from the Fort St. Vrain Nuclear Generating Station operated under Facility Operating License No. DPR-34, Docket No. 50-267.
These shipping pickages are licensed by General Atomic Company under Certificate of Compliance No. 6346, Revision 2 and bear identification No. USA /6346/B(
)F.
PSC is in possession of a copy of the Certificate c.* Compliance No.
6346, Revision 2, dated August 25, 1977 and all documents and their attach-ments referenced therein.
PSC commits to comply with the terms and conditions of the subject certificate as well as the applicable regulations which govern the use of this packaging and the shipment of authorized radioactive materials from the Fort St. Vrain facility.
In accordance with the general license provisions of Paragraph 71.12(b) of 10 CFR Part 71, it is requested that Public Service Company of Colorado be registered as a user of the Fort St. Vrain spent fuel shipping package, Model FSV-1.
