At..the April 26, 1979 Special Prehearing Conference, this Board requested the NRC Staff to advise it whether the NRC had investigated the catter
. reported in the April 3, 1979 New Orleans " States Item" regarding defects in concrete work at Waterford, Unit 3 (Tr. 106).
The NRC's Office of Inspection and Enforcement has investigated this matter as indicated in the enclosed memorandum dated April 4, 1979 and concluded that the concerns are baseless.
