We have established a review schedule and initiated review of the subject renewal application for the Exxon Fuel Fabrication Facility. The schedule was prepared essentially in accordance with the " Plan for Licensing Review and Inspection Related to Major Licensing Actions for Fuel Cycle Facilities", which is referenced in the " Agreement On Inter-face and Division of Responsibility Between the Offices of NMSS and I&E" concluded on January 31, 1978.
We would appreciate your comments and recommendations on the renewal application, notification of your scheduled inspections of the Exxon facility, and accomplishment of those I&E actions that are required by the plan, to meet the scheduled milestones listed below.
The major milestones in our raview schedule are as follows:
