In accordance with the undarstandings which were reflected in Sa matary Udall's lattar of March 20, 1964 to Chairnan Seaborg, I am forwarding Volunas 1, 2, and 3 of the Preliminary Safety Analysis Raport filed by Jersey Central Power & Light Cor:pany with its appli-cation for authorisat'.on to construct and overate the Ovster Creek Nuclese Generating Station Unit 2.
The proposed rasetor vill be locatad adjacent to the existing Oyster Creek Unit I nuclear raaetor on the applicant's sita in Lacey Township, Ocean County, New Jersey.
At the C# Jnaien's request, the U. S. Geological furvey reviewed tha Oystar Creek Nuclear Power Plant Unit No.1 Prelisina: v Safeguarda Summary 'taport, and on Septe=ber 17, 1964, furnished ecosaents e.
the geological and hydrological aspects of the preposed site.
