analyses in order te doeurent "the margins arailable for lenger tern cperation with three reacter ecclant pr.p 2 " for 2E-2.

Your request.as initiated as a re-sult of a plant ecndition (i.e., the inoperability of a reacter ecclant pu=p) which no longer exists at 2C-2.

Since Our discussicns with the :TEC Staff regarding three Eeactcr Ccolant ?u=p Operation, 2C-2 has experienced delays in its startup and test pregrs=. As a result of these delays, the failed Reacter Cccinnt Pu=p has been repaired prior to achie' ting significant pcVer cr.eration at CC-2.

%~e ic not anticipate any situation in which extended cperati n with t'ree Reacter Ccclant h nps will be required; therefore, we do nct feel that it is necessary to fa. her define safety margins in suppcrt of ex ended three M
