Three Mile Island Nuclear Station Unic 2 (TMI-2) License No. CPPR-66 Docket No. 50-320 Steam Generator Instrumentation Program On October 5,1977, representatives of Met-Ed and Babcock & Wilcox met with the NRC Staff. At that meeting, we described the stea= generator instru=entation program to be performed at TMI-2. Copies of the slides of tais presentation were transmitted to you on October 13, 1977. This letter transsits the safety evaluation of the instrumentation program in which we conclude that this installation does not represent an undue risk to the health and safety of the public. Due to minor field changes, additional documentation which you reques.ed is not yet available, but will be provided in the very near future. Specifically, this information is included in the following reports. 1. " Steam Generator Instrumantation Hardware Specification" 2. " Stress Report for the Instrumentation Program" 3.
