HYDECLOGIC CiGI2E.ERE G INPL'r - FCSTUIATED ACCE:CTZ.U. LIQUID RADWASTE SPILL PLANT NAME: Three Mile Island - Unit 2 LICD SDiG STAGE:

OL DCCKET lint 3ER: 50-320 Groundwater travel times and dilution factora have been esti=atad by T. Johnson for your use in evaluating radionuclida concentrations resulting frco a postulated accidental liquid radvaste spill at the subjegt plant. For a rupture of the Shim Bleed Eoldup Tank (8,000 f t ), the spill vill migrate through the groundvater to the Susquchanna River. At the nearest water supply intake, located five milgs downstream, the spill vill be diluted b7 a factor of 7.5 x 10. The travel time to this intake has been conservatively esti=ated as 1.6 years, neglecting ion-exchange.
