The Atomic Energy Cr==4esion has granted an evaption to the Metropolitan Edison Company and Jersey Central Power & Light cm=pany from provisions of AZC regulations which would allow the installation of the tendon access gallery for the proposed Three Mila Island Nuclear Station Unit 2 prior to issuance of the construction permit. This exemption was granted in accord-anca with the appliennts' request dated May 1,1969, so that the projected electrical power requirements of the applicants' system can be met.
