Two copies of a safety rialuation prepared by the Division of Reactor Licea ins are enclosed for the infor=ation of the Joint Cocaittee. The safety evaluation relates to tne Three Mile Isimi nuclear Station Unit 2 which Jersey Central Power & Light Company and Metropolitan tiimon Cenpany propose to construct and operate on the applicants' Three Mile Island sita in Dauphin County, Pemrylvania.
A public hearing in this matter will be held on October 6,1969 in Middlatown, Pennsylvania. Copies of the notice of hearing were scant to you with my latter of Septsaber 3,1969.
