UNITED STATES ATOMIC ENERGY COMMISSION DOCKET NO. 50-320 JERSEY CENTRAL POWER & LIGHT COMPANY AND METROPOLITAN EDISON COMPANY NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF FROVISIONAL CONSTRUCTION PERMIT Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to the Initial Decision of the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board, dated October 31, 1969, the Director of the Division of Reactor Licensing has issued F avisional Construction Permit No. CPPR-66 to Jersey Central Power & Light Cocpany and Metropolitan Edison Company for construction of a pressurized water nuclear reactor, designated as the Three Mile Island Nuclear Station, Unit 2, on the appli-cants' site on Three Mile Island, in Londenderry Township, Dauphin County,
, Pennsylvania, about ten =iles southeast of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The reactor is designed for initial operation at 2452 cegawatts (ther=al).
A copy of the Initial Decision is on file in the Cc=nission's Public Document Room, 1717 H Street, N. W., Washington, D. C.
