NRC STAFF REOUEST FOR EXTENS!CN CF TIME Cn January 30, 1973, Citizens for a Safe Environment and the York Ccmmittee for a Safe Environnent (" Joint Intervences") filed " Inter-vences' Brief in Support of Exceptions to the Initial Cecisien Dated Cecember 19, 1977" ("Brief").
In acccedance with the terms of 10 CFR i 2.762, the NRC Staff response to the Brief is due February 22, 1978.
However, due to the loss of time resulting frcm the major pcwer cutage that occurred on the af terncen of February la,1978 a-closed Staff offices until Febru ary 16, 1978, we respectfully request an extensicn of tlme until February 24, 1973 within wnicn to file the Staff's resconse.
The representative of the Acolicant has been informed cf tne Staff's request and expressed no chjecticn to it.
The Staff has not been able to reacn the Joint Intervencrs' representative, Chauncey Kecfcrd. Mcwever, the Staff cannet re-ceive that any crejudice to Joint Intervencrs wculd W
