Docket No. 50-320 14 Day Follow-Up Report On March 28, 1979, the Co==ission was notified by telephone of a nuclear incident existed and the onsite presence of the Cocnission during (the reporting period, at Three Mile Island Unit 2.

Because of the cocplexity of the situation which further details of the events leading to the incident an corrective action employed vill be delayed until May 15.

This report will contain infor=ation describing the event and preliminary short term corrective action up to April 30, 1979. This report will be updated by two additlional monthly reports (May and June) which will be submitted on June 15 and Jul'y.15.

Following these first 3 monthly reports, quarterly report:s will be subciitted.

The first of these quarterly reports will be submitted by October 15, 1979, g

and will include information compiled during the conths otf July, August, -

and September, 1979.

Wese quarterly reports will be sublaitted every three nonths thereafter, and will be submitted prior to the 15th day of the month following the quarterly report peHod.

Thew c:narcavly Nnve, will ineluele the similar type of information included in the =onthly rpports as well as those interim analysis results and interim evaluations concerning the event which have bocome available.

l The quarterly reports discussed above will continue untti a final report is issued. W e final report will include a summery of Tech.

Spec. violations which occurred during the transient. Also included will be a summary of the cause (s) of the incident as well as a sequence of events l which occurred during the transient, and corrective actions (both short term and long term) which were taken as a result of the 3/28/79 incident.

h e reports discussed above vill replace the reports required by Sections 6.9.1!.6 (Monthly Operating Reports),

6.9.1.7, 6.9.1.8, 6.9.1.9 (Reportable Occurrences) and 6.

2 (Special Reports) of the existing TMI-2 Technical Specifications.
