Edward J Carley NextEra Energy Seabrook, LLC 1983 - Date Nuclear Engineering Supervisor - License Renewal 2014 - Date Currently the License Renewal Supervisor for Seabrook Station overseeing in-house and contracted team members during the development and regulatory review of the License Renewal Application for Seabrook Station including the first in the industry aging management programs for Alkali Silica Reaction and Building Deformation. In addition providing management and oversight to resolve current operability issues related to Structure Monitoring Programs, ASR and Building Deformation. Supervising engineering evaluations and vendor interface related to the technical and environmental development of information supporting the application.

Project Manager - Cyber Security 2012-2014 Responsible for the Cyber Security Project implementation of the controls of NEI 08-09 to safeguard critical digital assets and to protect the health and safety of the public from radiological sabotage as a result of a cyber-attack. The project addressed the regulatory requirements mandated by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to protect digital computers, communication systems, and networks from cyber-attack in accordance with 10CFR73.54, "Protection of Digital Computer and Communication Systems and Networks".

Senior Engineer - License Renewal 2008-2012 During the development of the License Renewal Application held positions as the Licensing Lead, Time Limited Aging Analysis Lead and Environmental Lead for the development of the License Renewal Application for the extension of Seabrook's Facility Operating License.
