TR ORGANIZATIONAL MA'."IERS FCR THREE MILZ ISLAND, UNIT 2 In responsa to your :nemorandu:2 to rn dated Septenber 11, 1975 on the above subject, these matters are currently undar consideration by the Quality Assurance Branch. With regard to the first ite:n va vill pursue ~ ans for assuring that the Radiation Protection Supervisor (!.?S) has the authority and freedom to icple=ent his job responsibilitias, keeping in mind the current plant staff organization is in effect for Three Mile Island, Unit 1.
With regard to the second ite:s we intend to sea if the RPS meets the revised Regulatory Guida 8.8.
However, since the RPS is currently funct* aning in this job assignment for Three Mile Island, Unit 1, and since the i=plenantation provisions for the Regulatory Guide does not provida for "backfit", we do not intend to pursue this issue any further.
Our efforts in this regard will be conducted through the LPM for Three P.ile Island, Unit 2.
