REVISION 1 DATED APRIL 16, 1979 I
A review of this revision to EP-5 indicates that our initial coments (see transmittal sent 04/07/19) have been addressed, particularly with regard to not securing the running RC pump.
Additional conc.ents on this latest revision are as follows:
a.
Figure A:
Guidance to the operator as to the use of the steady-state versus the transient curve is not suf ficiently clear in the procedure.
b.
Fig.ures A & B:
Guidance to the operator as to the use of both these figures is confusing.
For example, why isn't figure A also appropriate as a limit under Section 2.2.3, part e?
I c.
S e c_t i o n. _1_._0_:Parts 1.2 and 1.3 are possible "causes" of a loss of letdewn, not " symptoms."

The NDT curve was examined (Ray Klecker, x28060) and, while acceptable, i
the observation is made that for the dotted curve in Figure "A" significant margin has been removed from t' e n
