Dear Mr. Sills:
Jersey Central Power & Light Cas;may, Morristown, New Jersey, has filed an applicatico for authorization to construct and operate a second nuclear reactor at the applicant's Oyster Creelt site in IAcey Township, Ocean County, New Jersey. The proposed reactor is of the pressurized vater type and is designed for initial cperation at approximately 2452 thermal megawatts.
A copy of the application is enclosed, including the " General Information" portion and Voltases 1, 2 and 3 of the Preliminary Safety Analysie Baport. Also enclosed are copies of application Amendment No. I and a notice which has been sent to the Office of the Fed. tral Register for filing and publication.
