Dear Ms. Pederson:
Enclosed is the Final After Action Report/Improvement Plan for the Quad Cities Generating Station Radiological Emergency Preparedness Plume Phase Exercise held on December 4, 2018.
This report was prepared by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Region VII staff. Copies of the final report will be provided to the State of Iowa.
Based on the results of the exercise, the off site radiological emergency response plans and preparedness for the State of Iowa and the effected local jurisdictions, site specific to the Quad Cities Generating Station, can be implemented and are adequate to provide reasonable assurance that appropriate measures can be taken to protect the public health and safety. Therefore, Title 44 CFR Part 350 approval of the offsite radiological emergency response plans and preparedness for the State of Iowa remain in effect.
If you have any questions, please contact Tom Morgan, Chair, FEMA Region VII Regional Assistance Committee, at 816-808-2756.
