STAFF RESPONSE TO THE OFFICE OF THE INSPECTOR GENERALS AUDIT OF THE U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSIONS CYBER SECURITY INSPECTIONS AT NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS (OIG-19-A-13)
This memorandum responds to your June 4, 2019, memorandum (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Accession No. ML19155A317) transmitting the subject audit report. The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) appreciates the Office of the Inspector Generals (OIG) audit of the Cyber Security Inspection Program and recommendations as provided therein.
The OIG audit report includes two audit recommendations for improving the NRCs Cyber Security Inspection Program. The Enclosure to this memorandum provides the staffs responses to the two audit recommendations, a description of actions taken or planned, and target dates for completion.
