OF THE MAY 21, 2019 BRAINSTORMING AND SCOPING WORKSHOP ON THE U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION INITIAVITES FOR BUILDING A SMARTER FUEL CYCLE LICENSING AND OVERSIGHT PROGRAM On May 21, 2019 the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) management and staff conducted a Category 3 public meeting to allow the NRC staff and interested stakeholders to provide specific ideas or areas for changes to the fuel cycle licensing and oversight programs. Attached to this memorandum is the meeting summary which includes the list of attendees and a summary of the discussion themes and ideas provided during the workshop.
