update on schedule re 4/23/19 request - Maine Yankee Threshold determination Date: Thursday, June 06, 2019 2:06:00 PM June 6, 2019 Good afternoon Mr. Matthews, I wanted to provide you with an update on the schedule related to your request dated April 23, 2019, with regards to Maine Yankee Atomic Power Company and a proposed acquisition of Emera Maine by ENMAX, a newly formed subsidiary. You requested that the NRC issue a Threshold Determination no later than August 30, 2019.
Your request is currently under review. Once I receive the input needed for this request, I will finalize the agency response. I should be able to complete this action before your requested date of no later than August 30, 2019. If I encounter any complications that will delay the agency response, I will let you know as soon as I am aware of any complications.
