AccessionNumber=ML19056A260 My group is currently reviewing the evaluation on the revised adiabatic heatup calculations, which we just received from the NRCs Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation / Division of Safety Systems (NRR/DSS), and are incorporating their findings into our overall evaluation of the proposed Pilgrim EP exemptions. Once this document is made public, I will forward FEMA a copy for your awareness as requested in FEMAs February 20, 2019, letter to the NRC (ADAMS Accession No. ML19057A234).
Per our previous discussions, NRR/DSS is willing to host a briefing of representatives from the FEMA Technological Hazards Division at the NRCs White Flint Offices to discuss and explain aspects of related to these calculations. Can you provided me proposed dates in the June 2019 timeframe, when FEMA staff could support this briefing, and a list of proposed attendees? I will then get confirmation of a good date/time from NRR/DSS.
Please give me a call if you have any questions.
