Description of the rule: The purpose of this document is to inform the public that NRC is amending its regulations that govern the license renewal process for certain non-power production or utilization facilities (NPUFs). This final rule primarily revises the definitions of non-power reactor, research reactor, and testing facility; and defines the license renewal process for all commercial or industrial NPUFs.

Dates: The effective date of this rule is 30 days after publication.
