By letter dated February 5, 2019 (ADAMS Accession No. ML19036A523), FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company (FENOC) submitted a license amendment request (LAR) to change the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station (DBNPS), Unit No. 1 renewed operating license and technical specifications for the permanent cessation of reactor operation and permanent defueling of the reactor.
After further consideration, FENOC has determined that the proposed deletions to the following license conditions are not required and are hereby removed from proposed changes to the LAR:
2.C(6) and 2.E (Antitrust Conditions) 3 (December 16, 2005 License Transfer Conditions)
The information provided by this submittal does not invalidate the no significant hazards consideration analysis provided in the February 5, 2019 letter.
