In support of the application renewal to the Competent Authority Certification (CAC)
USA/0565/B(U)F-96, Reference [5] above, TN Americas LLC, on behalf of TN International (TNI), is providing supplemental information. This information is based on recent communications with the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), References [1 and 2] above.
The following enclosures are included:
- provides the listing of the NRC questions provided in References [1 and 2] above followed by a TNI response.
- provides a copy of "LA 10294-MS - UC 41 - January 1986 - Los Alamos National Laboratory, New Mexico.
- provides a copy of the Patram 80 paper.
- provides the English translation of "Reference 8: TN International Note ref. NTC-07-0085519-000". This enclosure is Proprietary.
- provides the gas permeation report by H.-P Weise, K. -H Ecker, and H. Kowalewsky, 1990, IAEA-SM-286/44P.
- provides TN lnternational's statement of proprietary information pursuant to 49 CFR 7.14, 49 CFR 105.30, and 10 CFR 2.390 to cover. Enclosure 4 contains TN lnternational's proprietary and business sensitive information.
Due to the size of this submittal package, this cover letter, Enclosures 1 through 3 and Enclosure 5 are being provided as an attachment to an email to both you and Mr. Conroy of your organization.
