Dear Mr. Gresham:
By letter dated August 27, 2018 (Agencywide Documents Access Management System Accession No. ML18242A238), Westinghouse Electric Company (Westinghouse) submitted to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) a request for review and approval of Topical Report (TR) WCAP-18240-P/WCAP-18240-NP, Revision 0, Westinghouse Thermal Design Procedure (WTDP). Upon review of the TR and completed closed audit conducted by the NRC staff on April 1 through April 5, 2019, at the Westinghouse office in Cranberry, PA, the NRC staff has determined that additional information is needed to complete the review. Enclosed are the NRC staffs Request for Additional Information (RAI) questions. On April 18, 2019, George Yates of Westinghouse and the NRC staff agreed that the responses to the enclosed second set of the RAI questions will be received within 60 days of the receipt of the questions.
