VENDOR INSPECTION OF ARCOS INDUSTRIES, LLCS QUALITY ASSURANCE PROGRAM AND TITLE 10 OF THE CODE OF FEDERAL REGULATIONS PART 21 PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION

Dear Mr. Wehr:

This letter documents the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staffs plan to perform an inspection at Arcos Industries to review implementation of your quality assurance program in accordance Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) Part 50, Appendix B, and 10 CFR Part 21. Specifically, the quality assurance program and part 21 implementation will be reviewed as they pertain to Arcos Industries supply of American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and non-ASME welding materials to operating nuclear power plants. As discussed during a conference call on Friday, March 29, 2019, the NRC inspection team plans to arrive at your facility on Monday, June 10, 2019, and will conduct an inspection through Friday, June 14, 2019. Subsequent to the inspection, a report will be issued and transmitted to you via letter.
