STATUS OF RECOMMENDATION: INDEPENDENT EVALUATION OF THE FEDERAL INFORMATION SECURITY MODERNIZATION ACT OF 2014 FOR FISCAL YEAR (FY) 2017 (DNFSB-18-A-02)
REFERENCE:
GENERAL MANAGER, DEFENSE NUCLEAR FACILITIES SAFETY BOARD, CORRESPONDENCE DATED APRIL 9, 2019 Attached is the Office of the Inspector Generals (OIG) analysis and status of the recommendation as discussed in DNFSBs response dated April 9, 2019. Based on this response, recommendation 2 remains resolved. Recommendation 1 was previously closed. Please provide an updated status for recommendation 2 by June 15, 2019.

Audit Report INDEPENDENT EVALUATION OF THE FEDERAL INFORMATION SECURITY MODERNIZATION ACT OF 2014 FOR FISCAL YEAR 2017 DNFSB-18-A-02 Status of Recommendations Recommendation 2:
Develop an information system contingency plan for the DNFSB General Support System (GSS).
Agency Response Dated April 9, 2019:
The Information System Contingency Plan has been drafted and is currently under review by the Acting Chief Information Officer (CIO). The plan will be finalized and approved by May 30, 2019.
OIG Analysis:
The proposed action meets the intent of the recommendation.
This recommendation will be closed when OIG receives and reviews the final contingency plan.
Status:
Resolved.
