Communications between Pacific Gas & Electric Company [PG&E] and NRC about differences of opinion in the reports of the PG&E-appointed Senior Seismic Hazard Analysis Committee Peer Review Panel and the California Public Utility Commission-appointed Diablo Canyon Independent Peer Review Panel and any related NRC inter-agency communications.

I PART I.D -- COMMENTS RESPONSE D INTERIM TYPE FINAL Upon receipt of your request, we tasked staff in the Offices of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (NRR), New Reactors (NRO),

Nuclear Regulatory Research (RES), and Region IV to search for any responsive records._ None were located. NRC staff has informed us that they have had no communication*s, oral or written, with PG&E about any differences of opinion between the reports produced by the PG&E-appointed SSHAC Peer Review Panel and the Diablo Canyon Independent Review Panel appointed by the California Public Utility Commission; nor has NRC staff engaged with any external agencies about this matter.

If you have not already done so, you may wish to refer to the ADAMS web packages for two prior FOIA requests that we processed in 2015 about the DPO filed with respect to Diablo Canyon. The first of the two requests was FOIA/PA-2014-0488 (ML15258A566) and the second was FOIA/PA-2015-0071 (ML15208A173). You may also wish to rEiview the documentation published about the DPO, which may befound at ML14252A743.
