On February *28', 1976, at approximately 0310. hours, during a.routine inspection~.it was.noted:that.the*traveling water"screen for circulating water.pump 2-CW,;.;.lD was jammed._ -At 0632 hours0.00731 days
0.176 hours
0.00104 weeks
2.40476e-4 months
, a load reduction was initiated ori. Unit.No. 2.

At 0726 hours0.0084 days
0.202 hours
0.0012 weeks
2.76243e-4 months
, with Unit No.* 2 leveled out at SO.percent power; circulating water.pump-2-cw..:..m was secured to facilitate re-pair of. the s:reens *.. The. resultant reduction in circulating water'.flow caused a gradual increase in temperature difference* (6.T) *across *the.station.

At ap-p.roximately 0910 hours0.0105 days
0.253 hours
0.0015 weeks
3.46255e-4 months
the. station* tiT exceeded 15 degrees F.

A further load reduction was initiated*.

Station. tiT decreased to below 15 degrees :F ~. at 1030 hours0.0119 days
0.286 hours
0.0017 weeks
3.91915e-4 months
.*.The.duration of operationwith*the station t.T*in excess of 15.degrees

 • F. was approximately
 • 80 minutes.

The maximum. station t.T

 • during this period was 15. 9 ~egrees. F.

There was no apparent adverse environmental impact re-sulting* from this occurrence.
