VENDOR INSPECTION OF AZZ NUCLEAR/NLI QUALITY ASSURANCE PROGRAM AND TITLE 10 OF THE CODE OF FEDERAL REGULATIONS PART 21 PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION
Dear Mr. Bolt,
This letter documents the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staffs plan to perform a vendor inspection of the implementation of AZZ Nuclear/NLI quality assurance program in accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) Part 50, Appendix B and 10 CFR Part 21 as they pertain to AZZ Nuclear/NLIs design, qualification, and commercial grade dedication activities related to basic components supplied to U.S. NRC regulated facilities. The NRC inspection team plans to arrive at the AZZ Nuclear/NLI facility, in Fort Worth, Texas on Monday, May 20, 2019, and will conduct an inspection through Friday, May 24, 2019. Subsequent to the inspection, a report will be issued and transmitted to you via letter. The lead inspector for this effort is Mr. Jeffrey Jacobson.
