The Board of Directors has elected me to the posi-tion of Executive Vice President and succeeding me will be Mr. W. L.
Proffitt as Senior Vice President-Power.
Mr. S. C. Brown, Jr. will replace Mr. Proffitt in the position of Vice President-Power Station Engineering and Construction.
These are the only changes which directly affect business matters deali_ng with the Nuclear R_egulatory Commission.
The attached organization chart reflects these changes, and actions taken by Messrs.* Stal 1 ings, Thomas, Brown, and Baum represent company policy positions and commitments for their respective areas of responsibilities.
Correspond~nce to, and activities with the NRC concerning Power Supply and Production Operations and Maintenance will normally be.handled by Mr. C. M. Stallings.
Matters dealing with nuclear fuel will be handled by Mr. W. N. Thomas, and similarly, matters pertaining to Power Station Engineering and Construction will be the responsibility of Mr. S. C. Brown.
Mr. E. A. Baum is responsi-ble for Quality Assurance and Licensing matters and he will be the major contact for those activities. He will continue to sign routine NRC 1 i cens i ng correspondence not requ i r i_ng executive approva 1 by the other department heads.
As i result of these changes it will be necessary to change the manner of address of all incoming Nuclear Regulatory Commission correspondence. *It should now be addressed to *Mr. W. L~*Proffitt instead of myself as heretofore.
For this reason.,-and to assure prompt handling of correspondence within our organization, it is desirable that all written correipondence be &irected*to him.
