Docket Nosqp~28'.9) o-181 License Nos. DPR-32 DPR-37 This is to advise you that we have completed our evaluation of our spent fuel handling facilities as requested in your letter of October 3, 1974.
The evaluation has been broad in scope and several consultants have been used to assist us.
We recently received the final consultants report; however, additional time is required to prepare the evaluation for your review as well as that of the Station and System Nuclear Safety and Operating Committees.
Therefore, we plan to submit the report upon completion of these reviews.
The evaluation did not identify any major concerns associated with the spent fuel handling facilities installed at the Surry Power Station, Unit Nos.
1 and 2.
Detailed information will be in our forthcoming submittal.
