July 2, 1975 Serial No. 550/053075 LQA/TES:cel This is in reference to IE Bulletin 75~06 and the query as to whether the Westinghouse type OT-2 electrical switch is utilized in safety related sy.stems at Surry Power Station.
The Westinghouse OT-2 switch is utilized in safety related systems at the Surry Power Station and an inventory of the extent of the use of the OT-2 type switch is now in progress~
This inventory should be completed and the results communicated *to you by July 28, 1975.
The actions recommended in Westinghouse Technical Bulletin NSD-TB-75-4,. dated March 21,* 1975, will be followed in order to prevent a malfunction of the.type described in IE Bulletin 75-06.
