- - *2 Docket License DPR-37 This letter is in response to your letter of October 8, 1976 requesting action on TE Circular 76-05 "Hydraulic Shock and Sway Suppressors."
We were requested to determine if any of the subject snubbers are installed or scheduled to be installed in safety-related systems at Surry Unit Nos. 1 and
- 2.
The subject snubbers were described as ITT Grinnell's model numbers Fig. 200 and Fig. 201, Catalog PH-74-R, Series B-0001 through B-2000, dual orifice type with four locking nuts on the surface of the control block.
An inspection conducted on Surry Unit Nos. 1 and 2 identified no snubbers of this type installed; no snubbers of this type will be installed.
The response to the above circular is considered complete.
