This is to advise you that because of certain calculational errors, the data reported in the 1974 operating reports for the Surry Power Station, Unit Nos. 1 and 2, for noble gases released is incorrect.

We originally reported the total noble gas release for 1974 as 55,000 curies.

The 1974 data llas been reviewed and the actual quantity of noble gases released was 6,870 curies.

Cor-rections were made to the August and Septet::lber reported values.

We have kept the Regulatory Staff informed concerning this matter and docu-ment the above for the record.

Very truly yours,
