License Nos. DPR-32 DPR-37 We have completed additional analyses to determine a method of increasing our existing service water temperature limit at Surry.
We have found that a RWST level of 380,000 gallons will permit a maximum service water temperature of 87°F.
The Surry Unit No. 1 RWST is currently at a level corresponding to 380,000 gallons and we are in the process of raising the Unit No. 2 RWST level so that it will contain 380,000 gallons by September 1, 1977.
The LOCTIC anal-ysis shows satisfactory containment depressurization. and adequate NPSH for the RS and LHSI pumps with a service water temperature of 87°F and a RWST level of 380,000 gallons with all other parameters remaining as listed in table 1 of our August 24, 1977 letter.
