"Enviromnental Qualification of Class lE Equipment" and the NRC "Order for Modification of License" dated August 29, 1980 on enviromnental qualification of electrical equipment.
This revision to the November 1, 1980, submittal provides the results of further evaluation on the qualification of equipment with insufficient information and the schedule for corrective action.
The results of this review are provided in the enclosed revision packages for our previous submittals of IE Bulletin 79-0lB:

Our comments on Supplement 2 to IE Bulletin 79-0lB are supplied in the text of this report. Review of the Cold Shutdown and future TMI Action Plan requirements in Supplement 2 will be submitted by February 1, 1981, as specified in Supplement 3 to IE Bulletin 79-0lB _dated October 24, 1980.
Qualification information for installed TMI equipment is provided for your review in the following supplements to the IE Bulletin 79-0lB reports:

On October 1, 1980, we received a request from the NRC Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation to provide pertinent information relative to enviromnental qualifi-cation tests to be conducted within the next two years on equipment used or to be used in our facilities.
We indicated in our November 7, 1980 response that a determination would be made by December 1, 1980 whether certain cable installed in our Surry facility would be tested or replaced. Based on our present schedule, this activity will not be completed until the first quarter of 1981.
