ED20180108, Submission of Supplemental Responses to the NRC's Request for Additional to NAC's Request for Certificate of Compliance (CoC) No. 9356 for the MAGNATRAN Transportation Package, October 30, 2018 NAC International (NAC) hereby commits to making corrections to some of the Maximum Normal Operating Pressure (MNOP) values reported in the SAR, as part of the SAR consolidation, once the Certificate of Compliance is issued. In responses to RAI 3-14 from Reference 6, NAC Revised Calculation 71160-3022 to revision 1. This calculation revision resulted in SAR Section 3.4.4, MNOP value being changed to 23 psig from 13 pisg. This RAI response submittal and subsequent submittals, however neglected to update all MNOP values reported in other SAR sections. NAC has reviewed the MNOP values in the SAR and determined the correct value should be 23 psig, as currently reported in SAR Section 3.4.4. While the MNOP for the cask is calculated to be 23 psig the existing pressure boundary is conservatively evaluated with an internal cask pressure of 135 psig. The following SAR sections will be revised to capture the correct MNOP value of23 psig; 2.1.2.3.2, 2.6.1, 2.6.1.1, 2.6.2.1 and 8.1.3.3.
