Dear Sir or Madam:
. GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy Americas LLC (GEH) hereby submits a revised Vallecitos Nuclear Center (VNC) Site Physical Security Plan dated March 19, 2019, pursuant t_o 10 CFA 50.54 and to 10 CFR 70.32.
The revised VNC Site PSP includes clarifications of security measure details related to the facility site developed area and replaces the pr1;1vious plan dated March 21, 2016, in its entirety.
These PSP changes have been internally reviewed and documented as those that do not decrease the plan effectiveness and do not require prior NRC approval in accordance with 10 CFR50.54{p){2) or 10 CFR 70.32(e). provides a report describing the changes to the plan pursuant to 1 O CFR 50.54{p){2) and 10 CFR 70.32(e). Enclosure 2 is the revised plan itself. Text changes in the plan are indicated with a vertical line to the right of the changed text.
Note that Enclosure 1 contains security-related information and, as a result, GEH
, requests that Enclosure 1 be ~ithheld from public disclosure per 10 CFR 2.90 and NRC
Note that Enclosure 2_ VNC Site Physical Security Plan contains Safeguards Information, and as a result, GEH requests that Enclosure 2 be withheld from public disclosure per 10 CFR 2.90 and 73.21.
