Revision 19, February 28,2019 In accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 71.1 and 10 CFR 71.38, NAC International (NAC) hereby requests the timely renewal of U.S. NRC CoC No. 9235 for the Model No. NAC-STC Storage Transport Cask Package (Package Identification No. USA/9235/B(U)F-96), which will expire May 31, 2019. Presently NAC-STC has two docketed actions under review: a request to revise the CoC (Reference 3) and an application consolidation request (Reference 4) due to NAC issuing SAR Revision 19 (Reference 2). Should the approval of the Reference 3, Reference 4 and the approval of this timely renewal request align, NAC is agreeable with this being accomplished in one CoC Revision.
NAC has reviewed the current NAC-STC Storage Transport Cask Package operating procedures, Chapter 7, and maintenance program, Chapter 8, of Reference 2 and found no revision of the SAR is necessary at this time.
